BRAHMS played with him/them at Glasslands on Thurs. Just met him, but can’t stop listening to the cdr Andrew gave me. Side note, he lives down the street from my parents in the same Cincinnati suburb I grew up in.

According to Time Out, I’m a Most stylish New Yorker. I would like to say this. Style is not something you can do on your own. Many, many people contributed to my Style. I would like to thank: my parents, for never giving me a ride to school; the LA city bus driver, who took a chance on an unknown kid; and, last but not least, the wonderful crew from McDonalds, who spend hours making those egg McMuffins without which I might never be Style… (please everyone, get this quote)

∞Ray Johnson: John Cage shoes
Ray Johnson and John Cage met around 1948 at the famed avant-garde Black Mountain College. When Johnson died in 1995, the world discovered in that artist’s home the white and black shoes he’d painted with Cage’s name on them across the toes.
